Al Brown

Al Brown is a resident of St. Simons Island, Georgia. He owns his own real estate company and has been in real estate for 53 years (and counting), after graduating from the University of Georgia in 1972. Al grew up in Elberton, a small town in northeast, Georgia. Raised in the country with the ability to roam several hundred acres in rural Elbert County, GA, he grew up attending the local Baptist church, was an average student, loved music, the outdoors, hunting, hiking, fishing, camping, baseball, basketball and spending time with family. The son of hardworking parents, from them both, he got a can-do attitude with the spirit to survive, no matter the odds. They instilled in him respect for elders and a sense of honor to be a member of the Brown family and the responsibilities and expectations of proper behavior it brought. Al’s personal values are servanthood, truth, purpose, loyalty, performance. These carry forward to his business, as well. He and his wife Gayle have been married for 52 years. They have two daughters, Anna and Jordan, two sons-in law, both named George, and a grandson, Parker Felton Moore, who is seven.
