Yahaziel Simon

Dr. Yahaziel Simon is a board-certified orthodontist, Navy veteran, and children's book author passionate about building confidence through smiles. Raised right outside of Atlanta, Georgia, he overcame childhood struggles with his own smile, inspiring his journey to orthodontics.

He earned degrees from Georgia Southern University and Clayton State University, later attending The Dental College of Georgia before serving as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy. After his service, he completed orthodontic training at Case Western Reserve University, where his research was published in the world’s top orthodontic journal.

His debut book, Simon Says Smile, inspires kids to embrace confidence, perseverance, and self-belief. Dr. Simon’s mission is to help young readers chase their dreams—one smile at a time.
