MARTA CASES DE LARA

Marta Cases De Lara, known in the artistic world as Marta Cases, is an actress and children's story writer born in Murcia in 1969.

After completing her studies at Salzillo School in Molina de Segura, she pursued a law degree at the University of Murcia (UMU).

She has 27 years of experience in education, teaching economics and entrepreneurship in secondary and high school.

In 2015, she began studying acting and has participated in various theater and audiovisual projects.

In 2018, she founded the youth theater group "Salzi Teatro," made up of high school students from Salzillo School, preparing musicals and plays. Her group has participated in the Buero Vallejo Awards and the Teatro Villa de Molina Youth Theater Competition.

She currently combines her work as a teacher and director at Salzillo School with her work as an actress and writer. In March 2024, she published her first children's story with Apuleyo Ediciones as part of its values ​​promotion plan. It was illustrated by graphic designer Adrián Pereira. In June, she made her first presentation at the regional library and in October at the Murcia Book Fair.

Other published stories include "Hugo Is No Longer Afraid" and "Margarito the Chicken" from the Grandma Tells Stories series.
