William Keith Barr

I am a retired law enforcement officer and Pastor. I also served in the Marines from 1972-1976. I was a member of four different police departments in Arkansas including DeWitt, Arkadelphia, Hot Springs and Texarkana. I also taught at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy. I was saved/born again, in the fall of 1985 after listening to a Jimmy Swaggart Crusade on television. Say what you will about the man, but the Holy Spirit used him mightly for decades. I felt a calling into ministry in 1986 and have Pastored four churches. I received my Ordination as an Assemblies of God minister in 1996 and am still affiliated with that denomination. My wife Judy and I haved lived in Texarkana Arkansas for 30 years and we have two children, Kacey, and Jason. The book, Daily Bread from a Weekly Bulletin, is a compilation of 7 years of Sunday morning church bulletins that I wrote to the last church I Pastored. I don't like using "I this" and "I that" but I guess that's how you write a bio.
