Mave Bolton

Mave Bolton grew up in a small town where the local library was her second home. There, nestled between dusty shelves, she discovered worlds of magic that felt more real than reality itself. Her fascination with Irish folklore began when her grandmother shared stories of mischievous leprechauns who could only be caught if you never took your eyes off them.

When not writing about magical academies and gold-magic, Mave can be found hiking woodland trails, collecting unusual teacups, and convincing her cat that manuscript pages are not for sleeping on. She believes the best stories happen when ordinary characters discover their extraordinary abilities—especially those that work differently than everyone else's.

Leprechaun Academy is her debut middle-grade fantasy series, inspired by her love of magical school stories and her firm belief that somewhere, just beyond what we can see, leprechauns are sliding down rainbows and crafting magical shoes.
