April Benson is an author, speaker, and survivor whose writing explores the raw truth of emotional abuse, toxic relationships, and personal transformation. Her debut novel, When Love Hunts You, and its companion journal, The Truth Between the Pages, dive into the emotional layers of survival, betrayal, and healing — inspired by real events and told with unflinching honesty.

April holds a master’s degree in special education and has dedicated her career to helping others reclaim their voices. She is a keynote speaker on domestic violence and sexual assault, using both her lived experience and educational background to empower women through storytelling, advocacy, and community.
