Kate Arthur is an author, educator, and global advocate for AI and digital literacy. With over 25 years of experience founding and leading technology and education organisations, her work has reached more than a million young people and thousands of business leaders worldwide.

A contributor to UNESCO’s AI competency frameworks and the Algorithm and Data Literacy Project, Kate delivered the keynote address for UNESCO’s International Literacy Day: Promoting Literacy in the Digital Era in Paris in 2025. She has served on Canada’s AI Public Awareness Working Group and CCUNESCO’s AI & SDGs Committee, advises the Montreal AI Ethics Institute, and collaborates with the University of Oxford’s AI in Education Research Hub.
