E.S. Magill

E.S. Magill is an author, editor, and retired English teacher who traded grading essays for summoning demons—on the page, of course. She conjures tales of magic, monsters, and maternal mayhem in her Magica series, where the world’s most powerful witch juggles rogue witches, evil cults, and werewolves…all while raising six kids (yes, really). Her short fiction haunts anthologies like California Screamin’ and Blood Lite III, and she’s edited three collections of supernatural suspense, including Deep Cuts and Wily Writers Presents Tales of Foreboding. Formerly the “Dark Librarian” at Dark Wisdom magazine, Magill holds a B.A. and M.A. in English, is a member of the Horror Writers Association, and still finds time to advocate for mental health in her nonfiction work, Reveal Your Wings. She now lives in Phoenix, plotting magical mischief and dreaming up new spells—er, stories.
