Tj Elliott

T.J. Elliott’s theater writing after a 35-year hiatus came in the 2019 play Alms with co-author Joe Queenan. They also co-authored the problem comedies Grudges, Genealogy and The Oracle. His solo plays include Keeping Right, The Jester’s Wife, and HONOR.

Writing around subjects of knowledge, innovation, learning, and decision-making as Vice President & Chief Learning Officer at Educational Testing Service included Decision DNA co-authored with his late brother John C. Elliott, the foreword to the 2008 Second Edition of Work-Based Learning by Joe Raelin, as well as the lead chapter in Smarter Innovation: Using Interactive Processes to Drive Better Business Results, edited by Katrina Pugh. His Substack is Testing: a Personal History. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Manhattan College and Nova Southeastern University, respectively. T.J. has taught at Columbia University, New York University, and Mercy College
