Jacqueline Bruce

Jacqueline Bruce MA is a fully qualified, practising psychotherapist and published therapy writer. She holds a four-year diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (2018) and a Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing (2021), both from Sheffield Hallam University. In addition, she spent over a year studying at Oxford and holds Accreditation Certificates in Creative Writing (2024) and History of Folklore (2026) from The University of Oxford. She is a member of The Society of Authors. Jacqueline spent several years working as a Grief Counsellor with the registered charity Cruse Bereavement Care, before moving into private practice. She holds special interest CPD certificates in Grief & Trauma Counselling, Military Counselling, PTSD Recovery, and Suicide Prevention & Recovery Counselling. She particularly enjoys working with military and emergency service personnel. She has contributed psychotherapy features and columns to many UK magazines including Therapy Today and Soul & Spirit. She is currently a columnist and regular contributor with Kindred Spirit magazine. She also writes psychology books and therapeutic journals for a traditional publishing house in London, UK.
