A. M. Burk

A. M. Burk was born in Pennsylvania, raised in upstate New York, and now calls Texas her home, where she lives with her husband and three children. A lifelong storyteller, Abigail has had short stories featured in local anthologies and served as a narrative lead for a video game company before stepping away to focus on her family and her own writing career. Her kids constantly inspire her and love to tell her exactly which of her stories she is writing next. She is the author of the picture book Princess Marie and the Pesky Piper (co-authored by her then-three-year-old) and the romance novella The Smell of Coffee. In addition, she's working on her debut novel and a plethora of upcoming children's picture books. When she's not writing, you can find her playing with her kiddos, taking care of her zoo of animals, bookbinding, playing video games, jamming out to musicals, playing piano, knitting (yes, like what your granny used to do!), and hanging out at local independent bookstores.
