I write for teenagers who are about to make decisions nobody has explained to them.
It took me three degrees, including an MBA, to assemble what should have been one conversation at seventeen. I picked my own path from a child's view of adult jobs — I'd been to a doctor's office, so I knew doctors existed, but I had no idea what one actually does on a Tuesday. Half my freshman class was gone by the end of the first semester.
Personal Finance for Teens covers budgeting, banking, credit, taxes, and the scams built for eighteen-year-olds — including what to do if one already worked. Career Planning for Teens walks through all 16 career clusters, gives skilled trades and apprenticeships a full chapter, and ends with a written plan instead of a personality quiz.
Both are written to the student, not the parent. Plain language, no assumed background, at a level a fifteen-year-old will actually finish.
I publish independently through Ample Manuscripts Publishing LLC.
