Patsy Hicks

Patsy Hicks serves up cozy mysteries with southern charm and mischief. Patsy's appetite for small-town mysteries was nurtured by her mama's love for whodunits and her granny's recipe box.

Before she started cooking up crimes on paper, Patsy balanced books as an accountant and a houseful of foster kids—which taught her to wrangle chaos, whip up fast meals, and spin tall tales to keep young minds happy. These experiences now simmer together in her books.

When she's not plotting the perfect crime (on paper), you’ll find Patsy elbow-deep in bread dough, sweet-talking tomato plants, or trying to convince Bruiser the Chihuahua that the mailman isn't plotting world domination. She lives just outside Nashville with her husband and their two dogs: Bruiser and Brown the Corgi-mix, who inspire Patsy's canine characters.

Patsy's kitchen is always open to readers who love their mysteries served with a side of comfort food and sweet tea.
