Claire Jones

Claire is a Maryland Certified Horticulturalist, Landscape Design business owner, beekeeper, floral designer, garden travel leader, and photographer. Owner of Claire Jones Landscapes, LLC, Claire’s designed residential gardens have been featured in various print publications, such as Chesapeake Home, Style Magazine, Garden Design, Wall Street Journal, and The Designer (APLD).

A garden writer and communicator at her award-winning blog, The Garden Diaries, and other media, Claire maintains an apiary in a meadow at her home in Maryland and harvests quantities of delicious wildflower honey and honeycomb every summer.

A frequent presenter on gardening topics at botanical shows around the country, Claire practices what she preaches in her own two-acre backyard with a meadow, apiary, vegetable garden, greenhouse, cutting garden, ponds, hedgerow, and perennial borders.

Chosen for many years to decorate the White House for Christmas, Claire is also a floral designer and Master Judge and has served as the past Director of Federated Garden Clubs of MD and is a member of GardenComm, The Perennial Plant Association, and the MD Horticultural Society.
