Glenn Strauss

Dr. Strauss has served as an ophthalmologist, medical educator, author, counselor, musician, and bible teacher since 1980. His primary interest is mentoring and spiritual formation, and his innovative techniques for cross-cultural surgical training, development of cutting-edge virtual reality training tools, and training of trainers in facilitation techniques have taken him around the world. Dr. Strauss has authored numerous articles and four publications: Finding the Way, The Importance of Being Human, The Importance of Embracing Jesus, and The Importance of Living by Faith. He and his wife Kim built and now manage their home-based ministry, The Tyler Garden Oasis, as a peaceful and healing retreat for those struggling with difficult transitions. Married since 1975 to the love of his life, Dr. Strauss resides in Tyler, Texas enjoying 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
