Bahíyyih Maani is a storyteller and watercolor artist who creates books, stories, and heartfelt glimpses of everyday family life, bringing more beauty, tenderness, and color into the world.
Born in 1981 in Vitória, Espírito Santo, Brazil, she is the daughter of Iranian parents who came to Brazil as Bahá’í pioneers. She earned a degree in Architecture and Urbanism before discovering a new artistic path through watercolor in 2015, during a period of volunteer service in Haifa, Israel.
Author and illustrator of "Talking with Jadoca" and "Into the Sea with Agathinha", her second children’s book, Bahíyyih combines art and sensitivity to gently touch the world of childhood.
