Chris Skull

Chris Skull is a BSc (Hons) graduate in Criminology and co-founder of Hephaistos' Workshop. Over the years, he has built a diverse professional background, working as a journalist, video editor, IT technician, and director, all while pursuing his true passion: storytelling.

Born in Thessaloniki, with family roots stretching through Drama and Kavala, Chris grew up in lands once held by ancient Macedon. With Greece’s deep genetic continuity reaching across millennia, he is likely a distant descendant of those who lived, worked, and fought in the era of Philip II and Alexander—kings who claimed the blood of Heracles and marched beneath the lion-sigil. Whether one of his forebears was a soldier, a villager, or a nameless voice in the halls of history is lost to time, yet the thought of such lineage fuels his fascination with myth, legacy, and the echoes of the past.

For nearly two decades, Chris has honed his craft across multiple genres and formats, blending the grandeur of ancient myth with the raw emotions of mortal lives. His connection to mythology is both personal and creative; living near the mountain of the gods, he can often see Mount Olympus from his balcony, a daily reminder of the legends that shaped his imagination.

This passion culminated in The Last Titan: Unchained, the opening chapter of a sweeping seven-book saga. A grounded epic fantasy, the series reconstructs Greek mythology into a single, coherent narrative world, preserving its mythic structure while exploring its characters with depth and restraint.
