Mackenzie Angeconeb

Mackenzie Angeconeb is an Anishinaabekwe author in Northwestern Ontario from a family of artists. She is the author of two books. Her debut, the Fragments that Remain, has been featured as an Indigo “Best Teen Book of 2025 so far” and in CBC’s “25 Canadian Books to read for Pride Month”. Her second book but first poetry collection, Each Stitch to Build a Heart was released this fall. When she is not working on her current works, Mackenzie can be found cycling through her many hobbies to procrastinate her writing.
