Danielle Prior is a devoted single mother of two boys, one of whom is terminally ill. Her experiences as a parent profoundly shape her writing, as she seeks to create stories that inspire hope and resilience in young readers and parents.

Her debut children’s book, The Magical Button, invites children into a world of diversity addressing disabilities within children. In addition to writing, Danielle has a passion for photography, capturing moments that reflect the beauty and complexity of life.
