Pastor David Mackey

Born and raised in a military family experiencing all types of cultures which has helped shape him into the man he is today. David never stepped foot in a church until age 15 when his parents made it mandatory. However, at 19, he heard the call of God on his life, setting him on a path of transformation.

In 1992, seeking a fresh start away from trouble, David moved to Atlanta, Georgia. There, he found spiritual direction at Highpoint Christian Tabernacle under Apostle Thomas & Evangelist Carolyn Vinson. In 1994, he received salvation and the gift of the Holy Ghost, marking the true beginning of his faith journey.

In March of 1998, he met and married his wife Leslie, embarking on a lifelong partnership in ministry. Acknowledging his pastoral calling in 2004, he took a significant step by joining Impact Apostolic Ministries under Apostle Khadija Richardson. In 2006, he was ordained as a Pastor and Teacher, faithfully serving in ministry for the next 18 years.

Passionate about marriage and family, David became a marriage coach and co-hosts Marital Motivation with the Mackeys, a podcast designed to strengthen and encourage couples. In 2023, he launched R.E.A.L. Ministry, furthering his commitment to empowering believers and fostering strong, faith-filled marriages.
