Paula Curci

Paula Curci is a former Poet Laureate of Nassau County, LI, NY. She hosts and produces the award-winning Calliope's Corner: The Place Where Poets and Songwriters Meet and What's The Buzz® On WRHU. She is a poet correspondent for the Scene. Life and a Journal to The Self ® Journal Writing Instructor. As the founder of the Acoustic Poets Network®, Paula has produced three audio CDs: Emissary: A Journey in Spoken Word and Music, Bittersweet, and Done That the Audio Version. Under the APN brand, Paula also highlights the talents of her fellow Long Island poets; she co-produced a short poetry film, POETRY In MOTION, co-hosts the Shore Poets and The Hicksville open mics, and has developed several poetry festivals, including THE WORD and the Poetry: It's a 'Shore' Thing! Poetry Festival. Her poetry has been published in various anthologies. Her love for contemporary expressionism is evident in her written and spoken word projects.
