Thomas Hörren

Thomas Hörren is a biodiversity researcher and author. He is chairman of the Entomological Association Krefeld and researches the loss of biodiversity and the many difficulties we are causing to entire ecosystems. As co-author of the “Krefeld Study”, he sparked global debates on the loss of species and insects in 2017. Since then, science communication has played an important role for him and he has been active in the media and on social media in his role as a scientist to inspire people about biodiversity and communicate biodiversity loss.
