Mary E Strand

Ellie (Mary Ellen) has worn many hats during her 74 years. She managed a show-dog kennel, was a newspaper reporter, and was an account group supervisor at an ad/PR agency. She went back to college in her mid-40s and received a BSN in nursing. After moving to SC, where her daughter was in college, she received her MSN in nursing and was credentialed as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.

Ellie was disabled with a debilitating systemic disease in her late 50s. Never one to sit still, she is now publishing books in the health field where her training and experience, along with being a patient herself, make her uniquely qualified to speak from both points of view. Drawing on her clinical expertise and passion for holistic health, she is now a wellness advocate dedicated to helping individuals restore balance, build resilience, and improve overall well-being.

Her mission is to make health and wellness accessible. She empowers people to take an active role in restoring balance, building resilience, and thriving naturally in their everyday lives with practical, science-based strategies to support lasting health and vitality.
