I am a Christian writer of children's books and Christian adult coloring books.

As a 5th grade teacher in Texas, my love was science and the poetry of Shel Silverstein.

I am also a reading specialist and have been a teacher of children and

a teacher of elementary school teachers. Kids and classrooms are dear to my heart.

As for the wacky poems that I write for children, they have continued to dance in my head since I taught.

Shel said to leave something silly in the world.
