Heather Wood Buzzard, MA (Narrative Medicine), sprouted roots as a wildcrafter while digging up dandelions for dollars, before training in Southern folk medicine with renowned 4th generation herbalist Phyllis Light. Now an accomplished herbal educator and health writer herself, the core of Heather’s work focuses on the intersection of traditional herbalism and narrative in healthcare. Marrying the two fields of medicinal plants and therapeutic writing is her passion. Heather stewards land in Appalachia and is dedicated to using words to bring the wild to life.
