Sherrie Palmateer

My husband Duane and I have been blessed to share 38 wonderful years of marriage. We live in Maryland and are originally from Western New York. We are thankful for our four adult children, comprising of two boys and two girls. Two of which still reside at home along with my mother. I am honored to be the Director of Religious Education and Youth Ministry at St. Joseph Church in Fullerton, Maryland. In my leisure time I enjoy painting, drawing, farming, kayaking, cooking, and cherished time with my family and my two devoted dogs. As often as possible, I enjoy taking peaceful walks on our property and talking and journaling to God.

My book is poetry, and prayers that came from those moments with God, when I was suffering deep pain of one kind or another, it will lead you on my journey of finding joy and peace with God, in all circumstances. I hope by sharing these deeply personal prayers that I can help others, to know they are not alone, that no matter what storms they face in life, if they anchor themselves to Jesus, He will never let them drown.
