Brygida Milewska has lived in western Ireland for 20 years, but she was born and raised in Poland. She was a firsthand witness to the changes initiated by the Solidarity movement.
Inspired by the writings of Bobby Sands, she began to notice striking parallels between the situations in Poland and Ireland during the 1980s. This discovery became the driving force behind her decision to write this book.
Through the story told in "Nothing Will Change", Brygida aims to make readers rethink how history is shaped; she questions the fine line between being a freedom fighter and being portrayed as a threat, and explores how perspective influences what we accept as truth.
Brygida is passionate about telling honest and meaningful stories, which is why she chose self-publishing to share them in her own way.
When she’s not writing, Brygida balances the role of mother, full-time worker, and caretaker of two playful cats. She loves reading about history, drinking strong coffee, and enjoying quiet moments in which she comes up with new stories.
