Airie Avant is a Chicago-born, Mississippi-raised international trade expert and Gulf Coast enthusiast. She spends her days ghostwriting logistics news and opinions. She launched the creative side of her career as a live concert photographer but pivoted away from visual media when concert recaps got more attention than pictures.

Since the pandemic, she’s been working from home alongside her husband and an eighty-pound Bernese Mountain Dog, who try desperately to climb into her lap. She’s obsessed with the color aqua, summertime, roasting the people she loves to show affection, and she’s not above burning her baby sister’s hair off in a book to deal with her real-life attitude.
