Tal Galon

Tal Galon has spent over two decades immersing himself in East Asian cultures and philosophies while building bridges between Eastern and Western ways of thinking.

His transformative journey began in 2005 at the Thousand Buddhas Mountain monastery in Taiwan, where his encounters with remarkable Zen master White Cloud would reshape his understanding of life, happiness, and purpose.

A unique voice in contemporary spiritual writing, Tal combines deep experience in both business and Buddhist practice. He has lived, studied, and worked extensively throughout China, Taiwan, and Japan, spending significant time in monasteries while also developing expertise in cross-cultural business relations. This dual perspective allows him to make ancient wisdom accessible and practical for modern readers.

Currently, Tal serves as a cultural consultant to major technology companies and lectures on Chinese culture at Tel Aviv University's Youth Division. He is the founder of "Simply Chinese," Israel's leading Chinese language learning application, and works as a cross-cultural business advisor helping companies navigate between Eastern and Western markets.

When not writing or consulting, Tal can be found practicing meditation, studying ancient texts in their original languages, or sharing tea and wisdom with students and seekers from around the world. He lives between Tel Aviv and Asia, continuing to explore the intersection of traditional wisdom and modern life.

"Sacred Ordinary" is his first book, born from thousands of hours of conversations, meditation, and discovery at the feet of Buddhist masters. Through his writing, Tal hopes to show others how to find profound meaning in life's everyday moments.
