Holly Ramsey

Holly Ramsey is an independent educational consultant, essay coach, and author who helps both homeschool families and traditionally-schooled students navigate the college admissions journey with confidence. After homeschooling her own five children, she now guides students in crafting authentic college applications and finding their best-fit schools. With a Master's in Teaching from UNC-Chapel Hill and experience teaching hundreds of students through Brave Writer™, Holly brings practical knowledge and personal understanding to the high school student's journey to college.

A professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling, Holly founded IECA's homeschool affinity group and serves as a faculty member for their Summer Training Institute. Her dedication earned her IECA's "Making a Difference" award. As an author of College Unmazed: Your Guide to Design & Document Your Homeschool, she continues her mission of making the college admissions process less stressful and more thoughtful for families.
