Luis Martinez

Luis Martinez is a father, storyteller, and advocate for the power of culture, identity, and personal growth.

Inspired by his children, Luis draws from his Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian roots to create meaningful stories that help pass down traditions, values, and life lessons to the next generation. The idea for *Juan Forgets* was born during his daily train rides to and from New York City, where he reflected on the importance of family, memory, and the small moments that shape who we become.

Through his writing, Luis aims to help young readers build confidence, develop character, and embrace both their unique identity and the values that ground them. He believes that simple stories can create lasting impact—teaching lessons that stay with children well beyond the page.

In addition to being an author, Luis is a coach, business professional, and builder who is passionate about leadership, growth, and creating opportunities for others. His work—both professionally and creatively—is centered around helping people improve, grow, and reach their full potential.

When he’s not writing, Luis enjoys spending time with his family, coaching, and continuing to create stories and tools that inspire the next generation.
