John Laycock

Mr. Laycock lives in Maryland with his wife and three children. He attended Northern Illinois University where he obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and currently works in cybersecurity. Family history has become a deep interest for Mr. Laycock and he can often be found studying his family tree. He is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Historical Society of Carroll County. Mr. Laycock currently is serving on a committee working to mark the 1781 march of General Anthony Wayne and his troops from Pennsylvania through Maryland and ultimately meeting up with Lafayette in Virginia. Lastly, he is a 5th generation Chicago Cubs fan who still can't believe he finally got to see them win it all.
