From the planet of Tzersa and a notoriously nosey Mountain Nymph, Indah spent her childhood in the mountains of the northern kingdom, Kyramiir, until she was old enough to work when she took on a job with a traveling merchant. She stayed with the merchant for a couple of annig (years) gathering money and information until she grew bored and joined a naval crew to sail the seas for a while, travelling to several of the known Asps of the world before eventually landing on the Great Asp, Lamaronya. Once she made it to the living island, she found herself enrolled into the magic university, Scholae Illuminada, where she proved herself quite adept in the schools of Illusion, Transmutation, Abjuration, and Evocation.
She returned to the mainland after several annig of schooling and began work for the city of Eleutheria during a time of massive turmoil. During this time, she found herself in a relationship with Thea, the now royal advisor, who was actively working against Indah's employers. This work eventually ended up landing Indah in the underground, a massive cavernous area beneath the city that is inaccessible by any but the palace guard where, if one can escape, they are considered free of their crimes.
Indah made quick work of escaping the underground but found herself the first and only person in the history of the city to be recaptured for the same crimes.
It is assumed by many that this action happened because of her prior relationship with Thea, though that has never been confirmed nor denied by the other party.
Indah spent her second imprisonment working in Aurelionite Towers, the royal gated market in Eleutheria, as a servant of the market. While in servitude, she managed to find and out several shady merchants simply through her nosiness. She suggested doing market-wide audits to the market manager because of how many she found, however the manager had no interest in fixing the problem.
Once she finished her servitude and was allowed access to money again she actually turned around, purchased the market from the city, and immediately fired the market manager. She has since cleaned up the market by doing thorough background checks for every shop owner, employee, and servant, keeping detailed files on everyone. She got the rules changed for servants to be allowed one third of their earned pay immediately while the other two thirds get kept to cover any crimes and city expenses.
Since taking over the market, she has become close to several of the shop owners and has been overly nosey in their personal lives as their friend. She has finally been allowed to share these stories with others and has been working to get them out into the universe.
