Tom Emery is a people performance consultant, author, speaker, podcast host, and industry thought leader.

After a highly successful corporate career leading HR teams across complex companies in a broad range of industries, he founded HEX. HEX is a people performance consultancy that specialises in enabling individuals, teams, and organisations to reach their full potential through individual and team coaching, leader development, inclusive leadership, and broader HR consultancy services. HEX's team of consultants love going deep with clients and getting to the bottom of their challenges. They bring passion, challenge, and joy to everything they do.

Tom is passionate about supporting others and holds a deep curiosity about what makes people tick. He's a qualified executive coach and is accredited to use several psychometric tools, including the Hogan suite of assessments. He's also experienced in systemic team coaching.

Although he loves working with his loyal and interesting clients, Tom became frustrated that as a small company HEX's ability to increase the scope of its support to individuals, teams, and organisations. Becoming an author is enabling Tom to achieve his dream of lifting up a large cohort of leaders and senior HR professionals.

Tom grew up on the outskirts of Greater Manchester, and after spending many years living in London now lives in Lichfield, Staffordshire, with his husband, Nigel, and labrador, Harold.
