Dana Kiser

My name is Dana Kiser, and I proudly serve as a Program Manager for a highly regarded residential service provider in Virginia. With a Bachelor’s degree from Mary Baldwin College and a background in criminal justice, my professional journey includes prior roles as a segregation counselor, a probation officer, and an instructional assistant working in an elementary school. These experiences have provided me with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and advocacy—skills that have been instrumental in my current role, where I specialize in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Beyond my professional life, I am a dedicated mother to my beautiful, spunky daughter, a proud stepmother to three headstrong young men with autism, and a wife to an amazingly supportive husband. My family life has enriched my understanding and passion for creating inclusive, supportive environments for individuals with diverse needs. I share my home in Augusta County, Virginia, with five beloved cats and nine lively chickens, and I find joy in tending to them as part of my everyday routine.

In my creative endeavors, I am a passionate watercolor artist. My artwork allows me to express my love for nature, family, and the beauty in everyday moments. Through my paintings, I strive to capture the delicate nuances of the world around me, blending my artistic vision with the vibrant colors of my life experiences.

Rooted in compassion, creativity, and commitment, I aim to make a meaningful difference in both my personal and professional spheres, championing inclusivity and celebrating the unique strengths of every individual.
