Irma Clark

Irma Clark is an author and digital illustrator whose stories explore imagination, symbolism, and the transformative power of remembering who we truly are.

She is the author of several children’s books, including The Inside-Out Quest series, and the metaphysical thriller The Ninth Descent, the first book in the Corridor D Series.

As a child, Irma was affectionately nicknamed “Bookworm” and “Irm the Worm” because she was rarely seen without a book—even while walking to school. She also loved to draw. After a 37-year career in business, she returned to her lifelong passions of writing and art.

Today, Irma combines storytelling with digital illustration, using artificial intelligence image generators and Adobe Creative Suite tools to create magical visuals that bring her stories to life.

She writes in an upstairs studio filled with pink silk trees, a glittering butterfly wreath, and an ever-growing collection of crafting tools and creative machines.

Irma lives in Michigan with her husband and near her grown children and grandchildren.
