R.C. Reid

Born and raised in the heart of Kentucky’s bourbon country, R. C. Reid is an amateur historian and espionage aficionado who always wanted to write fiction.

An uber fan of the works of John D. MacDonald, Edward S. Aarons and Daniel Silva, he always longed to see a well-written female protagonist in the action-espionage genre, and so created the Mother Russia thriller series, the first book of which, RED MOSCOW, was published in January 2025 by Jumpmaster Press.

Star Trek, Shakespeare and English history are several of his other passions, and with five friends, he is one of the producers and hosts of the Snakes and Otters podcast (available on all major platforms) with 10,000+ downloads to date and counting. He is active on both Instagram and Facebook.

He and his wonderful wife Susan have three adult children and live in Louisville.
