Daniel Robert Mazur

Daniel Mazur is a lifelong entrepreneur and the COO of Computer IT Solutions, based in Florida. Born and raised in a strict religious household in Syracuse, NY, he grew up under the domineering influence of his father, a fundamentalist Christian pastor. As a young man, Daniel faced a mental breakdown after being rejected by his family for questioning and ultimately rejecting their doctrinal beliefs. Determined to rebuild his life, he forged a path outside the confines of his upbringing, embracing a life grounded in personal freedom and self-discovery.

For decades, Daniel sought to reconnect with his family, who remained entrenched in the church his father had led. These efforts were often met with heartbreak and disappointment. However, following his father’s passing in May 2021, some family members began to reconnect, offering a glimmer of hope in a journey marked by resilience and persistence.

Daniel’s debut book, COR Values, published in January 2024, is a poignant memoir born from 36 years of writing. Initially begun as a personal exercise to bring clarity to his thoughts after leaving a mental institution, the book chronicles his journey away from religion and familial ties toward a more life-affirming and authentic existence. His second book, Beyond the Morning Light, seamlessly blends fiction with real-life events, exploring themes of self-discovery and transformation. Currently, Daniel is completing his third book, When She Let Go, scheduled for release in 2025. Through his writing, Daniel continues to explore profound themes of identity, family, and personal freedom, inspiring readers with his unflinching honesty and dedication to growth.

Daniel’s website serves as an ongoing repository of his life journey, offering insights into his past, present, and future endeavors. The site includes a compelling dialogue with leaders of the church his father founded, chronicling his ongoing battle against doctrines promoting familial separation—a teaching rooted in the church’s past and perpetuated in its present. Daniel’s hope is that his writings and experiences will inspire Christians and others to recognize the harm caused by such practices and embrace the necessity of families and people of diverse beliefs living together in harmony. His work stands as a testament to the transformative power of resilience, understanding, and unity.
