Fabian Bocek

Dr. Fabian Bocek is a German expert in innovation and artificial intelligence. He holds a PhD in political science and a diploma in business administration. Since 2021, he has been working at the RKW Competence Center, a leading German think tank, where he is directly commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs in Berlin. As the head of the Innovation Promotion Program Area, he oversees research publications within the framework of the Central Innovation Program for Small and Medium Enterprises (ZIM).

Dr. Bocek’s professional and academic interests span innovation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence; international and comparative political economy; innovation, technology, and education policy; public sector analysis; and economic transition and development.
