Steve Kelly

Steve Kelly aka kellyocs lives with his wife Beryl in the rural town of Braidwood, Australia. He has been a teacher for most of his working life but is now devoting the major part of his time to writing and illustration. His began creating children's picture books while still teaching, and many of them have been tried and tested in the classroom, as well as with grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His general philosophy of writing for children is that the adults who read to them must also be engaged in and amused by the story. The feedback suggests that he has been successful in this regard.
