Maureen Brenda Belcher is the author of two novels: Surviving Through Betrayal, inspired by the extraordinary life of her mother, and The Curse of the Bloodline, a supernatural suspense story filled with mystery, danger, and family secrets. Writing began as a way to honor her mother’s strength, and it has grown into a new and exciting chapter of her life as an author.
Brenda was born in the old Nissen huts of Lydiard Park, England, one of six children raised in the 1950s. Her early years were challenging but rich with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories shared with her siblings. In 1969, she married her husband Tony, and together they raised three children. The family moved to the United States in 1979, where Brenda built a long and fulfilling career as a teacher for more than 30 years.
Now retired, she enjoys her growing family of children, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren. Brenda continues to write stories that blend emotion, mystery, and the supernatural. She is actively connecting with readers, sharing her books, and working on the next novel. She also loves her church ministry and traveling the world on cruises with her husband.
