Norma Sinclair earned her Ph.D. in educational psychology and specializes in measurement, research and evaluation. As a psychometrician at a state-level Department of Education for more than 27 years, she managed the development, administration, psychometric research and evaluation of statewide standardized assessments for teachers and K – 12 students.
Beyond psychometrics and program management, she served on the faculty of the University of New Haven (Connecticut), teaching research design and assessment development. She has also served at Northern Caribbean University (Manchester, Jamaica), teaching intermediate and multivariate statistics as well as quantitative research methods. Currently as a consulting methodologist, she particularly enjoys guiding the development of novice researchers as they design and implement their research projects.
