Tom Marquardt

Tom Marquardt spent more than 40 years in journalism in Michigan and Maryland. For his final 35 years he worked at Capital Gazette newspapers in Annapolis, first as an editor and finally as editor and publisher. He retired in 2012 and moved to Naples, Florida, with his wife Sue. A journalism graduate of Central Michigan University, he received several awards for his writing and was admitted to his alma mater’s Journalism Hall of Fame in 2013. He continues to write a weekly wine column and serves on several non-profit boards in Florida. This is the first book he has authored.
