Immanuel has worked behind the scenes in publishing and media over previous decades, helping to amplify world-impacting voices of wisdom and catalyze shifts in consciousness. Now, as the author of Creating Shifts: Decolonizing Spirit, Reimagining Our World, Immanuel brings together the threads of his life’s work and learning. He offers a vision of spirituality that is deeply engaged with the pressing issues of our time—from social justice and environmental stewardship to the ethical use of technology and the nurturing of authentic community.

A devoted father, lifelong student, and passionate advocate for a more just and sustainable world, Immanuel lives and works in the Ojai Valley of California. This area, known as ’Awha’y in the Chumash language, is the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Chumash people, who have been stewards of this land for thousands of years and continue to maintain a vital presence in the region today. Amidst the ancient oaks and under vast starry skies of this sacred valley, Immanuel continues to explore the fertile ground where creativity, spirituality, and societal change intersect.
