Kathleen S. McPhillips

Kathleen’s teachings are deeply rooted in lived experience. Her own journey through physical injury and disability, breast cancer, life transitions, grief, and aging has taught her that even the most difficult seasons of life can become sacred doorways to greater self-awareness, healing, and wholeness. She believes that when we turn inward with compassion and courage, we begin to remember who we truly are.

Kathleen is the author of Adirondack Retreat: My Midlife Journey to Wholeness, the story of her year-long retreat in the Adirondack Mountains and her journey of healing and self-discovery following breast cancer.

She is also a contributing author in The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self-Care series, including 25 Tools for Life, 25 Tools for Transformation, and 25 Tools for Navigating Loss, Grief & Transition. In her newest chapter, “The Sacred Doorway of Grief: Finding Peace Through Physical Injury, Illness, and Aging,” Kathleen shares how grieving the body and life we once knew can ultimately lead us toward acceptance, empowerment, and a deeper relationship with ourselves.

At the heart of Kathleen’s work is a simple truth: we are Divine Beings having a human experience. Through her writing, teaching, healing sessions, and retreats, she invites others to quiet the outside world, journey inward, and rediscover the love, wisdom, and light that have been within them all along.

Kathleen lives her work as a continuing journey of awakening—embracing life, change, aging, and the sacredness found in every season.
