Jennifer Junghans is a former journalist and editor who has written for audiences of all ages across print, web, and radio. Her work has appeared in Capital Public Radio, Orion online, Fodor’s Travel, E-The Environmental Magazine, TIME magazine (as a contributing reporter), Science News Explores, and Highlights for Children among others, and has aired on PRX programs “Living on Earth” and “The World.” She is the author of several titles in the workbook collection, “My Parents’ Divorce Through My Eyes” for children navigating divorce. Jennifer applies her editorial expertise and deep empathy to projects that promote compassion and well-being for people, animals, and the planet.
She's fascinated by birds, loves nature and all things tiny (from tiny homes to diatoms), has an affinity for simple things, and has never grown out of her endless childhood curiosity. She lives in Northern California.
