Richard “Reason” Garrett is a dynamic leader, accomplished entrepreneur, and dedicated public servant with a proven record of service and success. As a former Clarksville City Councilman, Mayor Pro Tem (Vice Mayor), and Commissioner for the Clarksville-Montgomery County Regional Planning Commission, Richard has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to community development and public service. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping policy and fostering economic growth within the region.

In his professional capacity, Richard is the Owner and Principal Broker of Concord Realty, where he is widely recognized for his tenacity, perseverance, honesty, and fairness. Over a decade of experience in real estate has allowed him to excel in every phase of the transaction process, earning him the trust and admiration of clients and colleagues alike.

Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Clarksville, TN, Richard’s journey reflects resilience and a passion for purpose-driven work. After serving as an Aviation Technician in the United States Marine Corps, he returned to Clarksville with a renewed sense of purpose, earning his Bachelor’s degree in Public Management with honors from Austin Peay State University.

Richard’s entrepreneurial spirit led to the founding of Liberated Publishing, Inc., where he authored, published, and marketed books and music for a variety of clients. His creativity and vision extended further with the creation of the LEAP Organization, a nonprofit initiative that has provided mentorship, housing, and entrepreneurial training for over 1,200 youth and single-parent families. LEAP's growth includes the acquisition of a 24,000-square-foot facility, transformed into the Clarksville Entrepreneur Center, a hub for affordable office space and entrepreneurial training.

A father of four and a dedicated husband, Richard has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by military families and young households, making him uniquely equipped to serve their real estate needs. With over 25 years in the Clarksville community, Richard brings unparalleled local expertise to his clients, offering professional service and goal-oriented solutions.
