Growing up in Ireland, I became fascinated with the world beyond our Irish shoreline. It is well known that Gemini’s are inquisitive, flexible, and constantly eager to learn new things and pose new queries. In fact, a Gemini's life is usually defined by a never-ending quest for knowledge, a love of social interaction, a wide variety of interests, and a natural curiosity that frequently leads us to pursue several paths at once, making us appear "two-faced" because of our propensity to quickly switch between different viewpoints and ideas; in other words, we are social butterflies who thrive on stimulating conversations and new experiences, frequently juggling a variety of hobbies and passions with a lighthearted and witty manner.

My book is a narrative that immerses you in my world, chronicling the events, drama, and the chance that drove me to take a risk and leave Ireland, a devoted family, and numerous friends to start over in an effort to find my true worth in the United States. I continued to pursue my adventures and experiences, meeting amazing people, and traveling to remote and occasionally exotic places. One day, I met my soul love, Francesca, whose unwavering love and support transformed my life from a career in auto maintenance to becoming a nationally acclaimed artist/sculptor and now published author. This book is a tribute to Francesca and for the twenty nines years we happily shared our lives together. I had found my soul mate and after a tragic accident I had to let her go.
