Hi, I’m Maurina J—hairstylist by day, hopeless romantic by night, and lover of all things Halloween. I live in southern Minnesota with my husband, our kids, and two goldfish named Ziva and Dorneget.

My writing journey began in the quiet hours of the night, when the house is still, and my imagination comes alive. Music, storytelling, and my love for fantasy, hockey, and cowboy romances have always fueled my creativity.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me in the salon, traveling, seeking out new adventures, or debating life’s most pressing questions with my family—like whether pineapple belongs on pizza (spoiler: it doesn’t).
