Allen D Wright

Allen grew up in a large family of 12 that included parents, a grandmother, brothers and sisters and cousins all under the same roof. Born in Alabama and raised in New Zealand, the Fiji Islands and North Dakota, each place provided a large variety of experiences that enriched his life. He met his wife, Julia, at Harding University, married in 1978, and together they lived in Alabama, New York City and the Fiji Islands working with churches. Their three children have given them 10 grandchildren. Currently Allen spends his time writing, managing a large garden, a small apiary and a thriving coffee shop. He and his wife continue to provide marriage and pre-marriage counseling to couples. He loves to spend time with his grandchildren and enjoys doing research while traveling. In recent years has traveled to Turkey, exploring the ruins of Ephesus, Sardis, Pergamum and many other sites to gather information for future books.
